Who we are

Since 2013, Euromaidan-Warsaw, as a citizen initiative, has been working to support Ukraine on its way to European integration. We have been supporting Ukrainians for more than 8 years. Nowadays, we connect Polish and Ukrainian organisations, foundations, initiatives, local activists and volunteers, which support Ukraine with equipment, medicines and humanitarian aid.

We are in direct contact with the Ukrainian Embassy in Poland, official representatives of Polish and Ukrainian governments, as well as with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is why we know what aid and where exactly is needed.

When? As soon as possible, as during the war every minute counts.

War in Ukraine

Ukraine’s war with Russia has been going on since 2014. In February 2014, the Russian Federation launched an armed invasion of the sovereign territory of Ukraine. As a result of this invasion of Ukraine, Russia illegally annexed the Crimea peninsula and dissolved the war in Donbas region. Since 2014, around 14,000 people have died in the conflict unleashed by Russia. At least 30,000 people were injured and over 1,5 million were forced to leave their homes.

On February 24, 2022 Russia attacked Ukraine and announced an open war to Ukraine. Russian convoys have crossed the eastern, southern and northern borders of the country.

Heavy fights are ongoing constantly. Large numbers of dead and wounded people are reported daily.

Due to the unprecedented escalation of war against Ukraine by the armed attack of Russian forces, Ukrainian society needs enormous support from our side.
